Early in my career I worked in commercial banking and mortgage lending as well as a stint helping a team deliver one of the earliest online banking platforms in the country. After two years in a top tier MBA program and positions in a business analyst role with FreddieMac, my experience took me to back to the Seattle area developing business processes and systems along with financial and operational reporting for engineering and technology companies. From there I spent years managing finance and accounting operations for mid-sized companies while also managing Six Sigma projects. My specialization became accounting, particularly revenue recognition, for project based software companies. Family commitments brought me to the northern Virginia area in 2010 where I began consulting for FannieMae and the FDIC. From there I was recruited to help with an accounting system implementation at PNC bank in Pittsburgh. After the PNC project wrapped up, I began implementing cloud based ERP systems Intacct and NetSuite. Along with Intacct and NetSuite, I’ve worked with many reporting tools, integrated Salesforce and many other custom or best of breed systems. In this time I have worked with approximately 40 different customers in almost every imaginable industry.
